The Role
Seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee a diverse event plan to support channel and direct sales teams. This role will work with direction from the
Director, Demand Center as well as work collaboratively with Channel and Sales Teams. This role will also collaborate across the marketing team and with
company leadership to assess event needs, coordinate schedules and manage deliverables.
Responsibilities

Manage the event planning and execution of all public-facing events, including conferences, tradeshows, influencer events, road shows and customer
forums.

Provide planning and logistical support for internal events and meetings, potentially ranging from local employee events to larger sales conferences.

Develop and manage all aspects of the event planning process, including budget management, vendor selection, food and beverage selection, onsite
schedule, speaker coordination, expense tracking, coordinating staffing assignments and booking travel and lodging.

Work with colleagues across the Marketing Team and in coordination with Sales to ensure proper messaging and consistent branding as well as to gather
input and assess needs for event design, marketing collateral, and the demand generation and business development process for each event.

Manage to deadlines and prioritize work to support multiple events potentially with overlapping planning schedules.

Work cross functionally to ensure alignment around the deliverables, initiatives and goals for each event.

Attend selected events (travel will range from occasionally to semi-frequent depending on the season) to participate, oversee and coordinate &
troubleshoot to ensure execution success

Gain an understanding of product offering and audience for each event.

Leverage available resources internally and externally to coordinate the details required to ensure an event runs smoothly and successfully.

Liaise with vendors and venues associated with each program to ensure fluid communication; manage budgets & ensure they are met

Provide support in the sourcing and shipment of conferences props, supplies, gifts, etc.

Manage internal stakeholder relations.
Requirements:

5+ years of experience managing corporate events and tradeshows.

Bachelors degreerequired; Business or Marketing related degreepreferred

Experience working for a technology company preferred.

Demonstrated experience working effectively and professionally under pressure or deadlines while remaining flexible, adaptable, and open to feedback

Excellent organizational, administrative, project management, and time management skills and comfortable creating order out of ambiguity

Punctual, dependable, attentive to details, and dedicated to achieving operational excellence through events that meet and/or exceed attendees’
expectations.

Strong written/verbal communication skills, ability to consult & negotiate effectively a big plus

Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to create lasting partnerships with stakeholders, colleagues, vendors, etc

Ability to travel (potentially up to ~20%) is required

Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize a number of concurrent projects under tight time pressure.

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial in nature and comfortable in ambiguous situations; someone who is proactive and resourceful in getting the job done.
