Job description
Partner Executive will manage, grow, and support the SAP related business with Key Partners including OEMs, Global SIs, Direct Sales Team, and SAP Teams.
You will be assisted by a team of technical resources with in-depth SAP knowledge (‘SAP Champions Team’), along with architect team in the SAP Linux Lab.
Communicate value proposition to partners and customers and identify and develop future SAP sales opportunities, either with Key Partners like OEMs or
Global SIs, or with direct sales force.
You will be assisted by a Global Alliance Partner Executive, along with additional Technical/Sales Resources to execute North American sales.
Responsibilities:

SAP-related sales and growth targets in North America

Maintain and expand market leadership for SAP customers

Drive SAP-related opportunities with Key Partners and direct sales force

Identify future SAP sales opportunities and develop programs to win

Gaining Key Executive sponsorship

Reporting of Pipeline and sales opportunities

Manage presence at key SAP events, such as SAP TechEd && d-code, and Sapphire
-
Identify new partnering opportunities, recruitment, nurturing, enablement, adding to portfolio

Ability to travel up to 25-50%
Desired Skills and Experience
Background needed:

Experience in managing and developing partner relationships

Experience in enterprise software sales, ideally with open source products

Knowledge of enterprise information technology, ideally around SAP

Experience managing and leading a team as well as managing matrixed resources both internally & externally.

Ability to develop, own and execute a Strategic Plan in including all key elements pertaining to business model, technology, marketing and sales
execution

Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting assigned revenue and/or other goals in a partner environment

The ideal candidate would have a strong network of key decision makers within SAP and/or experience working/partnering within a large international IT
organization

Experience in account management and sales execution with a history of delivering consistently against your revenue targets

Proven track record in business development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong relationship skills, especially in partnering situations

7+ years Partner Sales experience with high tech/software companies
