SUMMARY:
This Director is a Key Account Manager for all non-GM North American OEM accounts (GM handled by Detroit Office Head).

Technical knowledge and/or experience in Infotainment and Telematics

Experience managing Ford relationships and Chrysler/FCA
-
Servicing as a Key account Manager to Ford and/or Chrysler for infotainment and telematics would be ideal
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Establishes productive, professional relationships with Director-level and above personnel at major North American OEM’s: Ford Motor, Fiat Chrysler
Automotive, Tesla Motors, Google, Honda America, Toyota America, and others.

Meets assigned targets for new awards at assigned OEM accounts

Formulates strategic priorities and plans; develop analysis and recommendations related to emerging automotive industry trends, opportunities,
competitive dynamics, and internal business performance

Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates OEM needs on an ongoing basis
-
Communicates effectively with company personnel both in Detroit Office and Corporate Offices
-
Coordinates the involvement of the right company personnel in order to meet the needs of OEM customers
Desired Skills and Experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS

College Graduate
-
Minimum 12years in the automotive industry, either at OEM or Tier 1 supplier

Experience in sales to OEM customers

Infotainmant and/or telematics sales experience

Network of contacts at major 3 OEM’s in Detroit area

Wide range of product expertise in automotive areas

Flexibility of working in a global company, such as odd working hours and international travel

Excellent communication skills for communication with both customers and with HQ
